In my second web design course I was given the opportunity to invent a new website for the post covid, quarantine times. I made a website for traveling at the end of the covid-19 pandemic. We have to design a website that serves a function to those who clicked upon it and is also visually pleasing. I’m creating a website that allows people to pick one other person to travel with and choose a travel package to go on for up to two weeks.

This is geared specifically to two people who want to travel together to make booking and planning easier. I felt this was a necessary site to be on its own since lots of people have a person they would travel with especially after being cooped up for months.

I conducted a survey to collect data for my website, then I went on to mask personas

I did lots of research on sites who share similarities, the demographic, what to add to travel packages, Information architectures, wireframes, empathy maps, mood board, color and text studies, and personas. I also conducted a survey to collect data for the site I would be making. All of those aspects helped when I started creating the site with Invision and adobe software. This project was one of my firsts in designing a website and there are aspects I didn’t perfect at the time, but I’m glad I had this assignment as a learning tool.
