The Barn
The Barn opened in December of 2021 and I discovered this bar in July 2022. At this point, their business was booming with life, live music, and great food & drinks.
I got to know the owner, Brian and his bar manager, Noah, whom asked me to do some graphic design projects for them. The two of them are always working hard to improve the business.
They also Collaborate with New England Hemp Farm where they sell various CBD products.
Some History
The more I visited the barn for some of their fantastic wings, the more I learned about how it came to be.
The barn used to be the old Pevquonick fire department and Brian took the bones of the building and created a warm, inviting bar.
There are always events going on and people coming in to watch local bands perform on stage.
Brian even has 2 custom brews created for the barn called Haze for Horses IPA and Farmer’s Lager. They are quite popular on tap and are even sold locally at liquor stores.

Brian and Noah said that the website that they sell the products on could use a refresh of pictures for the consumers. Luckily, I have plenty of experience with photography and I was up for the challenge.
They wanted fresh, clear pictures of their inventory, so I got a light box and charged my camera. I would then need to turn the images into PNG’s. This was a wonderful learning experience of trial and error. There were times that the quality would go down when exported, the size wasn’t right, there was minor blurry-ness.
I needed to get a good groove of how to make this flawless, yet efficient. I found that perfect pattern. After exporting my images, I would use Adobe Express to turn the images into PNG’s (transparent background), then I popped over to Canva to ensure all the pictures were cohesive and the correct size.
There are plenty more PNG’s than this, but it gets pretty repetitive. They were all shot on a Nikon DL2500. This is how they look on the website.
